A new soft computing algorithm based on cloud theory for dynamic facility layout problem

摘要: This paper deals with dynamic facility layout problem (DFLP) in a plant which is concerned determining the best position of machines during multi-period planning horizon. The material handling costs and rearrangement (MRC) are used to determine layout. In addition positions machines, details transportation such as type transporters sequence operations have direct effect on (MHC). Therefore, it more realistic consider DFLP optimization. proposes new mathematical model simultaneously each period plan operations. Minimizing sum MHC MRC considered objective function. A hybrid meta-heuristic approach has been developed by combining modified genetic algorithm cloud-based simulated annealing solve model. Finally, proposed methodology compared two meta-heuristics set test problems.
