摘要: This paper aims to assess the impact of partitioning on optimal installation control valves for leakage minimization in water distribution networks (WDNs). The methodology used includes two main elements. first element is a deterministic algorithm operating through sequential addition valves, producing Pareto front solutions trade-off between number installed and daily volume, be both minimized. second WDN based transport function, into partitions equal sources. applied Italian WDNs with different characteristics. Due variations flow induced by partitioning, valve locations optimally selected partitioned prove slightly from those unpartitioned WDN. Furthermore, being same, better reduction effects (up 8%) are obtained
