摘要: This investigation analyzes trends in the variability of daily and monthly near-surface air temperatures. We examined 5° latitude by longitude temperature anomalies available for many grids around world. Overall, trend intra-annual variance is towards reduced highly significant over past 50 100 yr. then maximum minimum temperatures from United States, China, former Soviet Union intra-monthly January July. Most also indicated declining variability. A final approach occurrence record-setting same countries. found no evidence an increase record The fact that suggests we should see fewer tem- peratures recent years. There some this data. In general, our results argue against proposition have become more variable as global changed century.
