摘要: Abstract An improved technique for microinjecting individual paramecium cells with fluid, making possible injection of 30 to 40 cells/h, is described. This has been used show that cytoplasmically determined erythromycin resistance in Paramecium aurelia may be transferred sensitive by the mitochondria prepared from resistant clones. The ability these transmit unaffected DNAse or RNAse but completely removed low concentrations a non-ionic detergent. evidence strongly suggests determinants are located mitochondria, probably mitochondrial DNA.
