摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical and therapeutic value digital fusion image (FI) positron emission tomography (PET) using 18F-fluorodeoxy glucose computed (CT) in patients who were suspected having a local recurrence rectal cancer. Forty-two (32 men 10 women; mean age, 61.4 years, range, 40–79 years) with suspicion after curative resection cancer prospectively recruited underwent glucose-PET CT. FI reconstructed commercially available software program, T-B Fusion. Wilcoxon signed rank test used compare CT alone or PET alone. yielded correct diagnosis 39 (93%) 42 patients, whereas did so 33 (79%) 37 (88%) respectively. had better diagnostic accuracy than (P = .0138) .0156). Overall, altered patient management 11 (26.2%) on basis additional information, including differentiation tumor from postoperative scar 6 exact anatomical location 3 both 2 patients. has potential treatment
