摘要: Somatostatin receptors were detected in peritumoral veins of various human cancer tissue specimens. Vascular and neoplastic from 14 colonic adenocarcinomas, 13 carcinoids, 6 renal-cell carcinomas 7 malignant lymphomas analyzed for somatostatin by use quantitative receptor autoradiography. In carcinoma specimens, the vessels expressed a high density receptors, whereas itself was receptor-negative many cases. contrast, incidence low well-differentiated gastrointestinal bronchial contrast to such carcinoid tumor tissue. Autochthonous surrounding other tumors as or also frequently receptors. all cases, localized veins, particularly smooth-muscle cell layer. They exhibited specific high-affinity binding somatostatin-14, somatostatin-28 octreotide, suggesting preferential expression SSTR2 subtype. Since normal non-neoplastic tissues, e.g. intestine lymphatic organs, have few increased observed this study may be linked process itself. The results suggest that play regulatory role hemodynamic tumor-host interactions, possibly involving stroma generation, environment, angiogenesis and, particularly, vascular drainage poorly differentiated neoplasms.
