摘要: Energy and climate policies benefit from modernized construction technology energy supply source choices. Energy-efficiency improvement CO2 emission reduction will result renewable (RE) utilization in new retrofit single-family houses rural Poland. Several house scenarios heating sources comparing building costs potential are based on already existing structures calculated for a 100 m2 dwelling corresponding to the average home. With addition of thermal insulation RE-generating equipment, increase, but operating home dramatically shrink between conventional energy-neutral house. The latter scenario includes solar panels heat pump as well electricity-generating PV panels. Replacing coal with environmentally-friendly RE reduces emissions by about 90% annually. Additionally, lower dependence lessens other GHG leading immediate air quality improvement. New regulations guide homeowner choice, even larger gains could retrofitting houses, expanding environmental benefits generating bill savings households. However, varying throughout Poland require purchase winter assure residents’ comfort.
