摘要: Self-esteem refers to personal feelings concerning one’s own value, importance, and competence. It is the result of a long process appraisal which influenced by selfevaluation as well evaluation others. These evaluations of, for instance, values capacities, vary over time continually affect self-esteem. Though empathy considered an important indicator mental health, self-esteem may also be viewed sensitive health. Positive thought necessary prerequisite developed empathie ability. According holistic point view, regarded coherent within organism. subdivided into physiological, kinesthetic, affective (and motivational), cognitive components (Kalliopuska, 1983). We suppose that active interest in arts and/or sports (e.g., music, painting, classical ballet, self-expression, Finish baseball) promotes agility supports development ability feel concern Twenty-three young musicians, twenty-five artists, junior ballet group Finnish National Opera (n=62), students attending special “arts expression” gymnasium (n =30) were studied. They compared with from comprehensive school serving same neighborhood, who not any form arts, baseball players (n=1381). The identity status, self-esteem, self-regard, self-assurance, sensitivity, empathy, creativity, other personality characteristics assessed all subjects. From results, conclusion can drawn integration personality, develops capaCity understand others general, increases sensitivity toward self-appreciation. Empathy seems develop best among individuals ballet. Imagination general activity various fields typical groups studied involved or sports.
