摘要: Initially discovered as a potent neurite outgrowth inhibitor in the central nervous system (CNS), Nogo-A has emerged multifunctional protein. Involvement of this protein been demonstrated numerous developmental processes, ranging from cell migration, axon guidance and fasciculation, dendritic branching CNS plasticity to oligodendrocyte differentiation myelination. Although initially necessary beneficial for shaping later maintaining structure functionality, growth restricting properties can have negative effects on injury or disease. Hence, correlating with its various neurobiological roles, was implicated range disturbances, including trauma such spinal cord stroke, neurodegenerative diseases Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia. In review, we summarize current state knowledge Nogo-A’s involvement these diseases...
