摘要: Gypsum at rates of up to 15 t ha-1 was applied the surface 10 cm two red duplex soils in northern Victoria. At both sites, approximately five years after application, following changes soil properties were established: 1. Only when gypsum exchangeable sodium upper 25 significantly decreased. 2. Exchangeable magnesium not decreased depths greater than cm. After only treatments still contained some undissolved A horizon. Of that had dissolved, 53% been involved exchange. This represented an efficiency exchange 26-34%, based on ratio replaced calcium dissolved. sites over this five-year period, mean solubility from treatment 120-130 mm rainfall per gypsum.
