摘要: A device for optical space switching in networks. The comprises a broad area waveguide section having number of electrodes extending over at least portion the length section. application an electrical signal to electrode causes local change effective refractive index section, thereby causing light preferentially propagate along predetermined path dependence on configuration electrode. In particular is implemented indium phosphide (InP). Also described method waveguiding device.
