摘要: The continuum distorted-wave-eikonal initial-state model is extended to study ionisation of hydrogen atoms in arbitrary initial states by multiply charged ion impact. These results are used total cross sections as a function the impact energy for first excited stage proton dependence on projectile charge discussed and compared with ground state predictions from Born approximation.
