摘要: We studied inter-annual, spatial and sexual variation in the body mass of bank volesMyodes glareolus Schreber, 1780 grey-sided rufocanus Sundevall, 1846 using live trappings from two grids on southand north-facing slopes a mountain valley Southern Norway. Variation spring density four populations was consistent with cyclic dynamics (n=7,s-values >0.5). Individuals caught south-facing slope were larger than those slope. Reproductively mature vole males smaller females, whereas reproductively females. Body related to both species. In voles, we found direct positive dependence caused by higher rate survival at densities resulting individual allocation resources reproduction growth. negative delayed grazing preferred plants that determined resource available for growth following year.
