摘要: Abstract 1. Seasonal changes in body mass and voluntary feed intake were studied juvenile raccoon dogs ( Nyctereutes procyonoides , Gray 1834) under farm conditions. 2. The weight maximum was achieved mid-November. Thereafter, gradually declined towards summer. This pattern closely connected to regulation of consumption. During autumn, appetite the animals good enhancing gradual deposition excessive fat reserves. 3. Excessive adiposity itself, together with factors like shortening daylength decreasing air temperature, seemed play as a trigger for starting winter rest. 4. results support endogenic nature energy balance regulation.
