Polymers and copolymers of pyrrole and thiophene as electrodes in lithium cells

摘要: The performance of pyrrole and thiophene polymer electrodes in lithium cells has been examined the perchlorate–propylene carbonate electrolyte by cyclic voltammetry. Polypyrrole films were synthesized 'wet' 'dry' conditions; copolymers prepared at different potentials bilayers sequential deposition polythiophene (PTh) polypyrrole (PPy) films. polymers cycled between 2.0V 4.0V cells. effects disconnecting from cell on behaviour regarding doping coulombic efficiency also studied. cycling PPy is better than PPy, bilayer PTh/PPy copolymers. No mixed was observed for a where inner layer outer polypyrrol with thickness PPy/Pth ratio equal to ten. copolymer 3.9V vs Li/Li+ showed higher energy capacity Whkg–1 calculated anodic charge.
