摘要: Abstract The technical feasibility of long term anaerobic mono-digestion two brown seaweeds, and co-digestion both seaweeds with dairy slurry was investigated whilst increasing the organic loading rate (OLR). One seaweed natural ( L. digitata ); second S. Latissima ) cultivated. Higher proportions in (66.6%) allowed digester to operate more efficiently (OLR 5 kg VS m −3  d −1 achieving a specific methane yield (SMY) 232 L CH 4  kg  VS) as compared lower (33.3%). Co-digestion 66.6% cultivated latissima , higher SMY 252 L CH  VS but at OLR 4 kg VS m . Optimum conditions for were effected Chloride concentrations increased high levels digestion not detrimental operation.
