摘要: A split-band encoder prepares an estimate of input signal spectral envelope by splitting the into frequency subband signals, generates a scaled representation signals comprising scaling factors and values, differential coded factors, assembles values encoded signal. The scale represent leakage between filterbank subbands limits change in value adjacent factors. This limitation can be exploited to reduce informational requirements representation. Adaptive selection high- low-resolution envelopes adaptive factor reuse are described.
