摘要: Background: The potential health risks of exposure to Radiofrequency Fields (RF) emitted by mobile phones are currently considerable public interest, such as the adverse effects on circadian rhythmicities biological systems. To determine whether rhythms plasma antioxidants (Mel, GSH-Px and SOD) affected RF, we performed a study male Sprague Dawley rats exposed 1.8 GHz RF. Methods: All animals were divided into seven groups. in six groups RF (201.7 μW/cm2 power density, 0.05653 W/kg specific absorption rate) at period day (3, 7, 11, 15, 19 23 h GMT, respectively), for 2 h/day 32 consecutive days. seventh group used sham-exposed controls. At end last exposure, blood samples collected from each rat every 4 (total 24 h) also similar times animals. concentrations three determined. data RF-exposed compared with those Results: synthesis Mel antioxidant enzymes, SOD, shifted animals: Mel, SOD levels significantly decreased when was given 3 GMT. Conclusion: overall results indicate that there may be function, terms both daily antioxidative levels, well rhythmicity.
