摘要: On the occasion ofPsychometrika's fiftieth anniversary, past twenty-five years' developments in mental test theory are reviewed, with special emphasis on topics receiving attention pages of this journal. (Analogous reviews forPsychometrika's first quarter century were given by Gulliksen and Guilford 1961.) Much recent progress (and other branches psychometrics as well) has been made treating problems field being essentially ones statistical inference. It is concluded that (a) research a healthy state (b)Psychometrika an important source information about research.
