Electrochemical polymerization of EDOT modified Phthalocyanines and their applications as electrochromic materials with green coloration, and strong absorption in the Near-IR

摘要: Abstract Electropolymerization by cyclic voltammetry of both Cu and Zn EDOT modified phthalocyanines is described. Polymeric films were successfully formed on Pt, ITO, Pt containing a previously deposited layer PEDOT. Based electrochemical spectroelectrochemical studies, possible polymerization mechanism polymer structure are proposed. The showed green coloration in the reduced state grey also very broad band that extends to NIR zone fully oxidized state. Optical contrast ratios 24% at 650 nm, 60% 1050 nm achieved, with fast switching times. A window-type device was constructed, demonstrating applications these electrochromic materials smart windows, which could help control light visible heat flux because their strong absorption range.
