摘要: A tool for engaging a damaged or mutilated hexagonal socket in threaded fastener, the like, so that sufficient torque may be applied to fastener effect unthreading and removal thereof from part with which is engaged. One end portion of tapered cross section, thereby providing three pairs opposite sides. Each side inwardly by predetermined angle permits sides wedge against respective walls when forcefully driven therein. The ones each pair are spaced gauge width which, together taper sides, coact prevent bottoming fully engaged socket.
