Two different properties of short- and long-term memory.

摘要: Rats were trained in one-trial step-down inhibitory avoidance and tested 1.5-9 h later or 1-4 days order to evaluate short- long-term memory respectively. No extinction was observed when the animals repeatedly at 1.5, 3, 4.5 6 h; they 9, 24, 48, 72 96 h, there partial extinction. Exposure an open field for 2 min, 1 after training did not affect retention scores of 1.5 3 had a slight amnestic effect on groups markedly reduced 9 24 from training. Thus, two clear behavioural differences between measured first few hours following days, which suggests that both involve different mechanisms.
