摘要: Communities are the locus of competitive progress: some growing while others losing position in world economy. Efforts being undertaken throughout towards building national competitiveness through development intelligent communities using ultrafast broadband, collaborative ecosystems and appropriate eservices anytime anywhere. It is therefore critical that efforts to enhance community be effectively; greatest prosperity will go those nations best deploy their resources for development. This paper presents a set assessment tools capable mapping managing evolution both urban rural communities. The allow leaders decide on priorities monitor progress. Equally important, such lead democratic accountability enabling empowering constituents active participation. These multidimensional analysis were developed context i-CANADA initiative Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance. They universal applicability, can used any (within single country or across traditional boundaries) - interested becoming an “intelligent community”.
