摘要: There are many tools available for the creation of domain specific languages (DSLs) but question remains how to identify appropriate use cases application modeling and language design, measure success. We report on our observations after three years accompanying several real-life industrial DSL design projects experiments with applying qualitative quantitative evaluation criteria. suggest an methodology spanning entire life cycle. It consists assessment motivation, interviews, a validation quantifying benefits comparison impacted workflows before adoption. conclude discussion inherent limitations.
