The Structure of the Electric Double Layer of Macromolecules Suspended in Human Cerebrospinal Fluid

摘要: The cerebrospinal fluid is a dilute suspension of large colloidal macroparticles such as protein molecules and cells. Based on microscopic observations samples some theoretical data the authors could develop schematic structure electric double layer around biomolecules suspended in fluid. Numerical results show that averaged diameter observed 5,1 μm. We observe Brownian motions result thermal nanoparticles movements. Understanding ions composition we state compact Stern consists sodium cations Gouy chloride anions. Our calculations reveal thickness surrounding 0,366 nm.
