摘要: Some results of a systematic analysis important sources hydrocarbon emissions from direct injection diesel engine are presented. The following considered and investigated: (1) local overmixing, (2) poor end injection, (3) fuel emptying sac volume. uses experiments an existing two-dimensional thick evaporating spray model to determine the contribution various total in exhaust. show that at idle light load conditions, overmixing is major source emissions. amount overmixed directly controlled by mixing rate, ignition delay, lean limit combustion. Mixing rate calculations shape nozzle geometry more than physical properties determining overmixed. also for low emission using timing advance loads control, volume can be hydrocarbons. characterization these their effect on evaporation discussed.
