摘要: Abstract The Hechuan gas play of the second member Xujiahe Formation (Xu-2) in Sichuan Basin China has low porosity and permeability is a typical tight sandstone resource play. During 2008, 64 wells were drilled our study area, which 34 tested with commercial flow. proven reserves block (HC1) are 4.1 TCF over an area 505.2 km2. probable Tongnan (TN2) 4.2 437.3 To forecast potential geographic distribution play, we used numerical method to characterize continuous accumulations. Unlike existing models for conventional estimation, genetic proposed here based on principles unique trapping mechanism pooling dynamics We assume that over-pressure associated hydrocarbon (gas) generation source rocks primary driving force migration accumulation reservoirs. This approach takes into account interrelationships among free-gas pressure rocks, reservoir formation water pressure, capillary compaction history, diagenetic history processes. A model established represent equilibrant processes various components charging height column. simulation results both location consistent what been discovered target blocks (HC1 TN2) also predicted about half total remains undiscovered. Geographically, remaining resources distributed northeastern areas HC1 block, north southeast TN2 block.
