Biodiversity and Human Health Interlinkages in Higher Education Offerings: A First Global Overview.

摘要: Introduction: Biodiversity is inextricably linked to human health. As an important area of research the Convention on Biological Diversity and a key avenue for dissemination biodiversity health knowledge, we investigated how well-embedded interlinkages are in institutional higher education offerings. Methods: Using One Health programs as starting point, collected global list institutions potentially carrying out links between through previously published research, academic partners conglomerates, our own networks. We then analyzed offerings from these determine degree integration interlinkages. Results: found 105 educational 89 30 countries. These were primarily faculties public health, veterinary sciences, medicine, with varying degrees coverage Conclusion: Education incorporating exists globally, but should be more widely integrated, particularly inter-faculty inter-institutional collaboration.
