摘要: Pyogenic streptococci are a major cause of invasive infection. This study presents the results population-based laboratory surveillance for pyogenic streptococcal infections among residents Calgary Health Region (population 1 million) between July 1999 and 30 June 2004. The overall annual incidence rate was 18.65/100 000 population, with isolates belonging to Streptococcus milleri group forming most important aetiology (incidence 8.65/100 population). Invasive infection groups A, B, G C occurred at rates 4.27, 3.13, 1.83 0.41/100 respectively. There close relationship increasing age development an infection, higher males than females. Differences in seasonal occurrence focus different groups.
