摘要: Microfinance can be harnessed to serve both relief and development purposes in postconflict environments, supporting survival, reconstruction social reconciliation objectives the immediate conflict aftermath, as well longer-term economic rebuilding through microenterprise development. Independence from donor subsidies is widely viewed a desirable goal microfinance industry, number of donors are building full cost recovery into their support for post-conflict programs. The appropriateness paradigm environments questionable, given high operating costs faced by micro finance agencies, weak demand most profitable services, limitations on rapid improvements local capacity, particularly remote . areas.
