摘要: Environmental crime, a relatively new category of criminality, has recently attracted the attention criminologists. While large corporations and criminal organizations have been viewed as major environmental violators subjected to study, other groups involved in crimes generally overlooked. The present study interviewed both offenders investigators reviewed sample case reports surveyed general public. results indicate that ordinary citizens also engage lawbreaking, although their violations are basically trivial nature. findings this suggest education, instead law enforcement, would be an effective way preventing widespread criminality
