摘要: The multicopper oxidases (MCOs) are a ubiquitous family of proteins that carry out four single-electron oxidations substrates coupled to the four-electron reduction dioxygen water (Eq. 8.1) [1]. These enzymes diverse set oxidation reactions and based on their reactivity can be placed into one two categories: those oxidize organic molecules (organic oxidases) metal ions (metalloxidases) (Table 8.1). metalloxidases specific toward substrate, while generally exhibit broad substrate specificity:
