摘要: Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the cross-sectional geometry and mass density distribution a young porcine subject using X-ray computerized tomographic (CT) method perform comparative anatomical features 3 yr old female child specimen. CT scans were obtained at 1 cm intervals. outlines each cross section selected components within by standard picture processing techniques. inertia tensor for structure in computed based on numbers. then sacrificed, frozen, sectioned photographed. These sectional photographs compared with those from method. Tabulated also used compare similar results derived previously completed In particular, comparisons made location center gravity head, neck, head neck cervical spine regions. Some immediate applications data are inputs finite element models, lumped parameter biodynamic computer simulation vehicle crash victims, dummy design.
