Visuo-motor integration and control in the human posterior parietal cortex: evidence from TMS and fMRI.

摘要: The posterior parietal cortex is a fundamental structure for visuo-motor integration and control. Here I discuss recent transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) functional resonance imaging (fMRI) studies that interpret as suggesting four concepts. evolutionary process has enlarged the human while still preserving internal of other primates. Visuo-motor control in may be implemented by coding primarily action goals. lateralization functions suggests left more concerned with tool use right imitation actions others. Finally, inter-hemispheric transfer through callosal fibers occurs at level 'motor intention'.
