On Pseudocorynactis species and another related genus from the Indo-Pacific (Anthozoa:corallimorphidae)

摘要: Tentacles development is important for the Corallimorphidae in terms of speciation, being interesting to discuss about presence different evolutionary levels tentacle anatomy. We studied three species Corallimorpharia belonging two them Pseudocorynactis and one new genus Paracorynactis. The extendible capability tentacles proposed make difference among above mentioned genera. globulifera from Red Sea include this first time, we also have described tuberculata Indonesia Maldives. help control Paracorynactis hoplites on crown thorns sea stars population exposed.
