摘要: A greater awareness of the therapies now available for pelvic floor dysfunction has increased demand specialized imaging this region. Some techniques required are at relatively few centers, and purpose review is to introduce emerging subspecialty a more general readership. Pelvic anatomy complex being unraveled by means magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. This discussed in detail using global, rather than compartmentalized, anatomic approach. The physiology normal urinary anal function routine clinical tests applied them outlined. involved include MR imaging, endosonography, fluoroscopy. main investigations video urodynamic evacuation proctography, dynamic cystoproctography, floor, endoluminal sphincters with ultrasonography. These described detail, their role regard pathologic conditions floor--urinary incontinence, constipation, prolapse--are discussed.
