摘要: Quain, 1 in 1844, was the first to describe a carotid-basilar anastomosis. Padget 2 has given name "persistent trigeminal artery" this anastomosis because of its close relationship gasserian ganglion and fifth cranial nerve. In early stages development human embryo artery is main source arterial blood hindbrain. With formation vertebral-basilar system supply hindbrain, usually undergoes regression disappears by time that reaches 14 mm. stage.
