摘要: Summary Bayesian counterparts of some standard tests concerning the means multi-normal distribution are discussed. In particular hypothesis that mean is equal to a specified value, and equal. Lower bounds on Bayes factor in favour null obtained over class conjugate priors. The P-value, or observed significance level sampling-theoretic test procedure compared with posterior probability. results correspond closely those Good (1967), Berger & Sellke (1987), Pepple (1988) others illustrate conflict between probabilities P-values as measures evidence.
