摘要: Over the past decade, role of ubiquitin–proteasome system (UPS) has been subject numerous studies to elucidate its in cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology. There have many advances this field including use proteomics achieve a better understanding how cardiac proteasome is regulated. Moreover, improved methods for assessment UPS function development genetic models study led realization that often deviates from norm pathologies. Hence, dysfunction described atherosclerosis, familial proteinopathies, idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathies, myocardial ischemia. This ubiquitin protein (E3) ligases their roles also controversial proposition treating hypertrophy, ischemia with inhibitors. Furthering our knowledge may help new UPS-based therapeutic modalities mitigation disease.
