摘要: We conducted a prospective, randomized study to evaluate the effect of epineurotomy on outcome operative treatment established median-nerve compression in carpal canal. Fifty hands (forty-four patients) were into two groups: one group had release transverse ligament alone, and other adjuvant median nerve. The groups similar with regard age, gender, duration symptoms, preoperative physical findings. All patients electrophysiological evidence sensory delays fibrillations testing. procedures performed by same surgeon. evaluated preoperatively at year postoperatively. follow-up examination revealed no detectable differences between objective findings, or This suggests that nerve offers benefit compared sectioning alone.
