Nutrients in some estuaries of Kerala

摘要: Some environmental parameters and nutrients like inorganic phosphate, nitrate, nitrite ammonia from four estuaries namely Kallai, Beypore, Korapuzha Mahe along north Kerala Coast were studied for an year (1980-81). In all these seasonal variations in features related to the monsoonal cycle follows pattern reported other of west coast India. Inorganic phosphate did not show any clear or pronounced variations. high at Kallai compared three estuaries. All showed increase nitrate content during monsoon. Nitrite values postmonsoon.
