摘要: Abstract A strain of sulfate-reducing bacterium Desulfovibrio desulfuricans M6 was used to examine the degradation model sulfur compounds found in fossil fuels, and remove from crude oils different origins their products. The showed abilities degrade compounds, ranging 96% for benzothiophene less than 10% thiols. Degradation some were inhibited presence n -dodecane. Differences also observed desulfurizations origins. More removed heavier fractions petroleum crudes lighter fractions. Petroleum samples treated by analyzed gas chromatography using a specific flame photometric detector. Some be completely, while others unaffected. From these results, it concluded that sulfur-carbon bonds aromatic are more susceptible reductive those aliphatic low degrees desulfurization on due nature present samples. is suggested could develop process desulfurize heavy petroleum.
