摘要: Abstract Single crystal of glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride by slow evaporation method is reported. The grown characterized single X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, UV–Vis–NIR and fluorescence spectroscopy. It established that the falls under monoclinic system space group P 21/ c with cell parameters as: a =8.565 A, b =12.943 A, =6.272 A, α = γ =90°, β =103.630o. spectrum shows indirect allowed transition band gap 5.21 eV other optical properties are measured. also shown to have high transmittance in visible region. third order nonlinear property limiting been investigated using Z-Scan technique. Complex impedance measured at dc conductivity. Dependence dielectric constant, loss ac conductivity on frequency different temperature applied field analyzed. mechanical behavior has assessed Vickers microhardness indenter. thermal was analyzed TG/DTA curves. From study, material found possess stability up 174 °C. predicted NLO properties, UV–Vis Z-scan studies indicate an attractive for photonics applications.
