Impacts of genetic enhancement in pearl millet.

摘要: This chapter documents the benefits from pearl millet genetic enhancement research conducted by International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in partnership with national agricultural systems (NARS). ICRISAT-NARS efforts and resultant impacts are summarized, recognizing that many improved cultivars hybrids joint products of partnership. An example South-South spillover, where developed at ICRISAT found applicability adaptability across India sub-Saharan Africa, is presented.
