摘要: Antiarrhythmic and Placental Vessels. Introduction: medications are commonly used during pregnancy for treatment of maternal or fetal arrhythmias, but little is known about their effect on human placental vascular tone and, consequently, blood flow. The objective this study was to evaluate the responses caused by antiarrhythmic in vessels from normal term pregnancies vitro. Methods Results: Isolated arteries veins uncomplicated incubated Krebs'-bicarbonate under 5% oxygen/5% carbon dioxide/balance nitrogen (PO2 35 38 torr) were exposed cumulative doses quinidine, procainamide, lidocaine, flecainide, propranolol, amiodarone, verapamil, digoxin, adenosine after submaximal contraction with 5-hydroxytryptamine. conducted both presence absence endothelium. addition tested a significant, dose-dependent relaxation except adenosine, which induced sustained, regardless tone. Removal endothelium did not alter these responses. Conclusions: Based results, should have no decremental flow, possible exception causes significant. dosedependent vitro. Should similar be present vivo, it may an adverse fetus when administering pregnant women at labor.
