摘要: Data collected on cocaine in Australia the mid to late 1980s, when law enforcement and treatment centres were concerned with possible increases use, indicated a low prevalence of use. This article reports findings from Australian component 1993-94 World Health Organization study entitled "Initiative Cocaine", which provides an updated analysis use patterns consequences. The two components this "country profile" summarized existing health, survey data national, regional city level records, key informant consisted interviews people Sydney Melbourne who familiar through personal, professional observational experience. Findings show that has remained among general population (around 2%), few present services primary problems or are arrested. However, seems have increased inner injecting drug users.
