3-D Scanning of Nonopaque Objects by Means of Imaging Emitted Structured Infrared Patterns

摘要: Three-dimensional surface acquisition is a subject that has been studied to large extent; significant number of techniques for acquiring shapes have proposed, and wide range commercial solutions available. Nevertheless, today's systems still difficulties when digitizing objects are transparent or semitransparent in the visible range. In this paper, some issues traditional scanning addressed by considering radiative properties materials. As result, an infrared laser light-based scanner presented successfully shape complex surfaces analyzing heat patterns emitted object.
