摘要: This paper describes a method for testing fabrics with molten metals. The test evaluates the fabric's ability to protect people who are accidentally splashed by metals such as iron, aluminum, or brass. Some results discussed illustrate application of method. procedure is substantially same evaluating heat transfer through materials upon contact substances, now being developed ASTM Subcommittee F23.80 on Molten Substances, subcommittee Committee F-23 Protective Clothing.
