摘要: Living with fibromyalgia (FM) means living a chronic pain condition that greatly influences daily life. The majority of people FM are middle-aged women. aim this study was to elucidate meanings for women FM. Fifteen were interviewed about their experiences and phenomenological hermeneutic interpretation used analyse the interview texts. findings show can be understood as double burden; an aggressive, unpredictable being doubted by others in relation invisible pain. ever-present described unbearable, overwhelming, dominated women's whole existence. Nevertheless, all tried normalize life doing chores attempt alleviate In order support needs help them feel well despite pain, it is important nurses health care personnel acknowledge understand experiences.
