Personality traits, intrinsic motivation and job performance among newly appointed JKR officers in Klang Valley area

摘要: This quantitative research paper aims to determine the relationship between personality traits, intrinsic motivation and job performance among newly appointed JKR officers in Klang Valley area. Respondents for this comprised of 135 officers. Data were analysed using Statistical Package For Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 17 software. Tests conducted Pearson Correlation analysis Simple Linear Regression analysis. The correlation analysis results suggest that traits have a significant positive linear with moderate strength of association. Subsequently, multiple regression result shows value coefficient determination 0.304 which concluded only 30.4% performances influenced by 69.6% was explained other factor not involved research. Further, given standardized (13) 0.333 relatedness 0.243 agreeableness significance values both dimensions are less than 0.05, low degree significant positive relationships is reported. every increase agreeableness, will also significantly. Recommendations being suggested organization emphasise on programme training character building their parallel technical competency.
